Terminals for car traffic

The Port of Barcelona has two terminals specialised in car traffic with simultaneous storage capacity for more than 55,000 units, Autoterminal and SETRAM. They offer all the necessary security measures and have railway terminals for loading and unloading with European, Iberian and metric connection gauge and Ro-Ro ramps.

SETRAM

This terminal has four railway terminals that allow eight trains to operate simultaneously and a daily capacity of 13 trains. Every year up to 55,000 vehicles are imported by rail and 15,000 are exported.

Autoterminal

This multimodal vehicle terminal is a reference hub thanks to its connections with roads and rail, facilities and technology. The main car carriers in the world call in here, both SSS and Deep Sea.

Two other Port of Barcelona terminals also carry out vehicle traffic operations.

Bergé

With a total area of 7Ha, it stands out for its large maximum capacity for loading vehicles and rolling stock. It features a Ro-Ro ramp, 9 Reach stackers, 8 tugmasters, two gantry cranes, and a mobile crane of up to 140 Tn.

Grimaldi Terminal Barcelona

Thanks to the direct access to the rail network and its automatic gate system, it offers an agile service to the Italian and Balearic and Canary Islands markets.
